Competition Lake Maintenance works
Full walking and cycling path loop will be unavailable on Friday 27 June & from Monday 30 June through to end of Friday 4 July, with more dates to possibly be added while maintenance works take place subject to weather conditions.
During these works, the bridge on Northern paths will be closed, and approx 1.5km of Southern Paths unavailable to allow for machinery access. Do not enter construction zone.
Updates will be posted on the daily opening hours page if there are any changes. Please check this page before visiting.

The Sydney International Regatta Centre is an event venue that opens to public recreation where possible on non-event days. Gate times and availability for public recreation are subject to events and may change at short notice.

Penrith Lakes Environmental Education Centre (PLEEC) provides quality curriculum related fieldwork programs for students (K-12) and is located on-site. Call 4730 3630 for information.

Penrith Lakes parkrun is a free, fun, friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate - it's up to you!

Run Western Sydney

With a half marathon, 10km, 5km, and 2km events on offer, there is a distance for all abilities and ages. The inaugural 2025 run will take place on 28 September, 2025.

Penrith District Nitro Racing run most Tuesday nights in the P3 carpark. If you are looking to get into remote controlled car racing, check out their upcoming events.

Dogs must be kept on leash

Dogs are welcome to join you on your walk around the lakes, but please ensure they remain on leash at all times and are cleaned up after. Dogs are not permitted to enter the water at any time.

Drones are not permitted to be flown at the venue without permission from Venue Management. Recreational flying is not permitted at any time.

Lakeside Restaurant

Lakeside Restaurant is located on site behind the main grandstand on the Island and opens for dining on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights and weekend brunch (pending events).
